Below are the rules and regulations that the individual leasing a storage space (hereafter “Occupant”) from Hammer Creek Storage (hereafter “Owner”) are required to take note of and follow:
The storage facility will be open from dawn to dusk. There will be no access to the storage facility after dark. If an Occupant must access the storage facility after dark due to an emergency, they are required to contact the Owner for access.
Occupants are recommended to have insurance for their stored personal property.
Extended leases may be requested for twelve (12) months. Approval is at the Owner’s discretion.
The storage units do not have interior lighting. Occupants are responsible for providing their own lighting.
Occupants are forbidden from residing in or running a business out of the storage spaces.
Occupants may not store plants, perishable food or any live animals.
The storage of automobiles, trucks, vans, and any other vehicles of that type are prohibited at the facility, unless approved by the Owner at their discretion. If a larger vehicle is approved and is being stored long-term without usage, the gas tank must be drained as a safety precaution.
Smaller vehicles such as motorcycles, ATVs, and other similar smaller vehicles are permitted, but if the vehicle is being stored long-term without usage, the gas tank must be drained as a safety precaution.
No work may be performed on any vehicle at the storage facility, including changing oil, antifreeze, or other fluids.
Occupants must be 18 years or older to rent storage unit.
The storage facility is a smoke free facility. No smoking is allowed anywhere on the facility.
Security of the storage facility is the responsibility of all the Occupants. If something does not look right, please notify the Owner immediately.
Occupants may only use one lock per storage unit.
The speed limit on the facility grounds is 5mph.
Upon vacating the storage space at the end or termination of the lease, the Occupant must remove their lock and completely clean out the storage space. All trash must be removed and properly disposed of from the storage facility.
Occupants may not loiter at the facility nor use the facility for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purposes.
Additional termination fees:
Foreclosure fee, $100, after 30 days of failure to pay
Disposal fee, $100
Lock cutting charge, $20
Auction fee, $400
